Via East Midlands Ltd is a company wholly owned by Nottinghamshire County Council. The company aims to safeguard the delivery of a sustainable highways service for Nottinghamshire and become the partner of choice for engineering services in the East Midlands. The idea to create a new company to look after the County’s highways was put forward as part of Nottinghamshire County Council’s budget consultation and comes as they look to find new and more efficient ways of providing services. As a company which combines a public sector service ethos with a strong commercial focus Via generates additional income by offering competitive services to both the private and public sectors in the region.
