VFS Global is the world's largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions. The company manages non-judgmental and administrative tasks related to applications for visa, passport, and consular services for its client governments, enabling them to focus entirely on the critical assessment task. VFS Global works with 70 governments around the world, operating a global network with more than 3,300 Application Centres in 149 countries. The company has processed over 272 million applications since its inception in 2001. (Data as on 30 November, 2023) VFS Global is responsible for managing the front-end administrative tasks only that includes the collection of application forms and required documents as per the checklist as well as the enrollment of biometrics. VFS Global has its headquarters in Zurich/Switzerland and Dubai/United Arab Emirates. VFS Global is majority-owned by funds managed by Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager. The Swiss-based Kuoni and Hugentobler Foundation and EQT, a global investment organisation, headquartered in Stockholm/Sweden, hold minority stakes in VFS Global. 2023   (1) Won the Dubai Quality Global Award in the ‘Services’ category at Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism's 29th Business Excellence Awards in March 2023. This is the fifth time since 2014 we have won the award.   (2) Won 'Best CSR Impact Award' and 'Partner Engagement Award', in recognition of our community development programmes in India in March 2023 at the 7th edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility Summit & Awards 2023   (3) Won Eco-Vadis Silver Medal for sustainability performance in April 2023 (4) Won the Golden Peacock National Training Award 2023 in recognition of its exemplary learning and development practices for the second consecutive year in March 2023.
