Vetter Design (Group) began in July, 1988 as a sole proprietorship by Joe Vetter. After serving 10 years at Bauer, Stark & Lashbrook, 4 years as a Shareholder/Owner, Joe decided to chase his vision of the American dream. Vetter Design Group (VDG) was established on the following principles: Our word is our bond, Always do what is best for the building being designed, and Create lasting relationships with our clients. Today, Vetter Design Group lives by those same principles. The marketing strategy employed at the outset was to continue existing relationships with repeat business customers and to establish new ones; being aware that the key ingredient to successful repeat work relationships is providing responsive, high quality service on a consistent basis. VDG has chosen to remain a small, local architectural practice that serves the Toledo Metropolitan area. We have designed projects for a diverse group, of which 90% are repeat clients. Services have been delivered in both traditional and design/build methods. Vetter Design Group is dedicated to designing attractive, efficient and cost-effective buildings which improve our client's environment and enhance our community.
