Vesthimmerland is at Limfjorden between Viborg and Aalborg. A municipality which contains wonderful nature with many options on land and water for strong communities and cities in development. Vesthimmerland is also known to have the golf tournament Made In Denmark in the municipality, which annually provides 90,000 visitors guests. There are about 37,500 citizens in Vesthimmerland, while in the municipality's 3500 employees and management are divided into four administrative buildings respectively Farsø, Aalestrup, Løgstør and Aars. The municipality's slogan is "The desire to make a difference" as the campaign "Vores Hjemmebane" is the story of Vesthimmerland from our own citizens.
