Accredited by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, Veritas provides National Police Checks (www.veritascheck.com.au) and Australian Federal Police (AFP) police checks (www.afpcheck.com) within Australia and Criminal Record Checks issued by the New Zealand Ministry of Justice (www.veritascheck.co.nz). Veritas is authorised by the Department of Home Affairs to serve as an Issuing Body for the Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) (www.msic.net.au), the Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (www.asic.net.au), and a Gateway Service Provider of the Document Verification Service. In 2019, Veritas partnered with Metro Trains Australia to begin providing verification of identity checks for the Rail Industry Worker card. Veritas was named a national finalist in 2008 and 2009 for the Dell Small Business Excellence Award for use of its technology in its MSIC program.
