Velvet Sky Bakery is a scratch style bakery focusing on sophisticated cupcakes, cupcake towers, wedding cakes, groomcakes, and sculpted specialty cakes. We proudly specialize in more than forty different varieties of cupcakes and custom designed cakes, from the simplest of buttercream birthday cakes, to the most ornate wedding cakes with hand crafted sugar flowers. Located in the quaint and beautiful neighborhood of Jenkintown, PA, Velvet Sky is a scratch style cake bakery specializing in sophisticated cupcakes, cupcake towers, wedding cakes and grooms' cakes. Over the years we have worked closely with our clients to create unique and delicious works of art for every occasion. Our open kitchen plan allows passers-by to watch each piece being created, with love. In 2013 we opened Velvet Sky Caf right next door, expanding our boutique concept into the dessert and craft coffee world. Offering freshly baked scones, muffins, quiche, shortbread crust pies, delectable desserts, artisanal teas and of course our award-winning cupcakes, and proudly serving Counter Culture Coffee, we strive to provide our customers with a unique caf experience.
