Various Artists Limited - VAL - is an award winning independent television production company based in central London, dedicated to making ambitious and bold scripted comedy and drama programmes for the global market. VAL was founded in July 2017 by the writers Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, together with producers and ex Channel 4 commissioners Phil Clarke and Roberto Troni. BBC Studios holds a minority share in the company.
