Vu Orkest

The VU-Orkest is a big and pioneering student symphony orchestra with 80 to 120 members, and one of the best amateur-symphony orchestra's of the Netherlands. Principally late-Romantic music or music of the twentieth century is being performed. We have played in the best concert halls all over the Netherlands, and have given concert tours in various countries of Europe, including last year in Bulgaria. The VU-Orkest is a student course of the cultural centre of the VU University Amsterdam - Cultuurcentrum Griffioen.
