Since 1977, VSA Michigan has worked to create a society with access and opportunities for children and adults with disabilities so they may experience growth through the arts. We continue to provide guidance to organizations, teachers, and families to help them create inclusive and accessible experiences through the arts. Our constituents expand their horizons through VSA Michigan programs and services including, but not limited to classroom workshops, art exhibitions, and festivals conducted by professional artists and creative therapists.
From one small office in 1977, we incorporated in 1986, and have grown to include multiple affiliates and partners throughout the state to help facilitate our mission. We are indebted to the hundreds of volunteers that help us to reach nearly 75,000 individuals on annual basis.
