Vista The Photography Society Of Maitreyi College

VISTA, the Photography Society of Maitreyi College, Delhi University, is a family of beautiful and talented young women who are amazing at their jobs, be it, photography, videography or editing. Despite being an excited bunch together with cameras in hand, every person here has their own individuality, style and type which reflects in each of their work. The diversity is not only relevant in each of their work, but also in their personal backgrounds as we have members from the states all over our country. We conduct various photowalks and workshops, sometimes in collaboration with other colleges’ societies and professional photographers. We give weekly prompts to our members who efficiently put their thoughts into photographs. We also conduct ‘cinephile’ sessions where we decide on a movie to be watched by every member and then discuss about it’s photography direction and cinematography. Apart from this, we cover our college events and festivals and actively take part in various competitions. We are a very dedicated and hardworking society, and believe that anything we set our eyes at, can be turned into a story. We aim at building and creating a vision for everyone that can aspire people to be good at something. Our society is that safe space that allow our members to grow as individuals, as well as professionals, without a fear of judgement or doubt.
