Violet Pictures

Violet Pictures is a Kent-based, distribution, programming, and film educational company. We represent a library of diverse films, including acclaimed titles such as Oscar-nominee Hoop Dreams, Emmy-winner After Tiller, Goya-winner The Silence of Others, and currently Recorder: The Marion Stokes Project. We help filmmakers devise impact campaigns and enjoy supporting new and established directors. With our educational partners the Kent Film Foundation and South East Creatives we have the pleasure of training and developing the next generation of Kent-based filmmakers over the last three years running a series of workshops and screenings. We ran the Folkestone Harbour Screen’s Young Film Programmers Panel from 2018-20 and we now currently run the Deal Film Club’s Young Film Programmers Panel with support from Film Hub South East. We also host and curate the popular monthly doc club at the Folkestone Quarterhouse.
