Together, the VCCC Alliance partners represent a critical mass of expertise and resources. Our mission is to turn the potential of this into best possible outcomes for Victorian cancer patients.
Our approach
The VCCC Alliance is changing the way we tackle cancer in Victoria. We work strategically and collaboratively together, integrating cancer research, clinical trials and education to enable and accelerate the translation of scientific evidence into patient and community benefit.
Our partners
Our alliance is a multi-site, multi-disciplinary joint venture partnership between 10 leading medical research, academic and clinical institutions with a shared goal of improving outcomes for Victorian cancer patients. The VCCC Alliance partners are Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne Health (including The Royal Melbourne Hospital), The University of Melbourne, The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Western Health, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (including St Vincent's Institute), Austin Health (including the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute and Austin Lifesciences) and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
The Victorian State Government is a major supporter of the VCCC Alliance.
