V P Group Of Enterprises Belgaum Motor Parts PVT.LTD. was Established in the year 2002 to manufacture Rocker Arm Screws for two Wheelers and Four Wheelers in association with Indo Schottle Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd; Pune. The company started with the manufacture of M 5 Rocker Arm Screws suitable for the two wheeler industry. Initially the Turned Screw Blanks were supplied by ISAPL and all further operations like Thread Rolling, carburizing, Induction hardening etc were carried out at BMPPL and the finished screws were supplied to ISAPL for onward supplies to various OEMs. This process continued till 2006 and we used to supply about 50 lac screws / year to Indo Schottle Autoparts at Pune. However in the year 2006, it was decided that Belgaum Motors must be on its own and rely on ISAPL only for technical help if needed. Accordingly; Belgaum Motors started manufacturing M 5 Rocker arm screws from Raw material to Finish stage and started supplying them to ISAPL. It used to supply about 50,00,000 Finished screws per year to ISAPL for last 3 years which were sold to various OEM s all over India. In 2010, BMPPL decided to separate from ISAPL on mutual agreeable terms and started marketing its Rocker arm Screws on its own. Now, we have enhanced our production to 600,000 M 5 Rocker arm Screws / month and supply them to two wheeler industries in India and abroad. We have the capability to develop various types of new screws in the range of M 5 X 0.5 P to M12 X 1.75 P size. The size limit is due to the present machinery installed for the center less grinding and Thread Rolling capability. We have various reference books on Material selection, standard availability, ISO standards and Heat Treatments which are used extensively for development. We also have two Graduate Mechanical Engineers who look after design and development of new parts and help us improve quality and Productivity. Ours is a small operation and hence we are very economical and willing to operate on small volumes also. We are also very proud to inform you that the company is engaged in a Social Initiative through which it tries to give gainful employment to women and girls who are needy, distressed or disowned by the families. These women are trained on the machines to manufacture M 5 Rocker arm Screws and given a dignified employment with all ESI, provident Fund and Gratuity benefits. We have about 25 such ladies in our unit happily employed. The unit is ISO 9001-2008 certified for last 6 years and is known for its quality screws and on time deliveries to the customers.
