Urbis Limited is an independent design consultancy specialising in town and regional planning, urban design and landscape architecture. Established in 1977 and head-quartered in Hong Kong, we also have offices in Dubai, Shanghai and Manila. Our project experience includes regional planning studies; technical studies on subjects such as green roofs, noise barriers and habitat conservation; masterplanning and urban design for new towns and developments; tourism strategies and developments; sports infrastructure; public opens space and recreational projects; streetscape and public realm; theme parks; habitat conservation and restoration; highways, rail, drainage and utilities projects. We have completed projects in over 15 countries worldwide and include amongst our clients international NGOs, national, regional and local governments as well as some of the largest and most prestigious private corporations worldwide. The exceptional standard of design to which we aspire and also attain are attested to by our receipt of over 80 design awards won design awards from professional bodies and institutes in the USA, UK, China and Hong Kong. In 2010, Urbis was selected to represent the Hong Kong SAR design and architectural industry at the Venice Biennale.
