We’re Urban Partners: a voluntary business partnership made up of organisations in the King’s Cross, Euston and St Pancras area.
Our work is funded by members who are all based within the local area. We have a diverse membership base with global organisations and local businesses from a variety of sectors including transport, technology, media, publishing and hospitality. Members give their time, expertise and resources in order to build and sustain a thriving urban neighbourhood that is a good place to work, live and do business.
Current Board Members include: Arcadis, Argent, Crosstree, Eurostar, Google, Green & Fortune, The Guardian, Havas, High Speed 1, King's Cross, Kings Place, Ted Baker, The Office Group and Springer Nature
We focus on 3 key priorities:
1.Benefitting Employees
We represent close to 7,000 employees via our member businesses and with thousands more set to arrive in the coming years, Urban Partners works hard to foster a community spirit among employees by collaborating with longstanding businesses from the area as well as the newer businesses choosing to call this part of London home.
2. Representing Our Businesses
We seek to engage businesses, keep them informed on the issues that affect them and develop programmes to support them. We want to improve connectivity and accessibility to help employees, residents and visitors navigate the neighbourhood better and also work together to address some of the environmental concerns of our community, including introducing and supporting initiatives to reduce air pollution.
3.Engaging the Next Generation
Young people are a vital part of the area’s future and we as a business partnership want to work constructively with them. Our business members want to engage and support young people from across the area, seeing it not only as a way of giving something back to the local community but crucially, helping to connect local young people with young employment opportunities in the area.
