The University of Stirling is an international university based in the UK, recognised across the globe for addressing the needs of society through innovative interdisciplinary research; learning and teaching of the highest quality; and sharing our knowledge with the world.
Founded by Royal Charter in 1967, the University of Stirling was the first new university in Scotland for over 400 years. We retain our pioneering spirit and a passion for innovation and distinction in all that we do. We are an agent for change, connecting people, innovating and transforming the lives of our students, staff and the global communities we serve.
Continuing our tradition for innovation and internationalisation, our campus in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE) formally opened its doors in 2018. The campus enables our students to undertake prestigious courses developed by expert academics from the University of Stirling, delivered internationally in the UAE.
