Universal Rewind

Universal Rewind was incorporated in 1960. At the time the main business focus was limited to small armature and field coil rewinds. In 1975, under new ownership, the company expanded to repair small motors and power tools. in 1980 the company moved from a 1200 square foot warehouse into a 6500 square foot warehouse. With the new space, Universal Rewind diversified into a complete electric motor repair facility. The business continued to expand and again required a larger facility. In November 2000, Universal Rewind (1975) Ltd. celebrated it's 25th anniversary and moved into an 18000 square foot custom-built facility. Now celebrating 22 years at the current facility, Universal Rewind offers full lines of electric motors, gear reducers, drives and controls, as well as motor repair, machining, welding, modification and rewinding.
