The United Nations Association of Broward County Chapter (UNA Broward) is a community-based chapter affiliated with the United Nations Foundation, established in 1985. Our Vision is to Advance economic viability, environmental protection and social equity in Broward County, Florida. UNA Broward Mission is to empower socially responsible leaders to get involved with community-based programs by educating them about United Nations work and its agencies, while fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships. As a registered non-profit organization in Florida, pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code under the subordinate group exemption of the Better World Fund (EIN 58-2366765), our function is to educate about United Nations global work and its Sustainable Development Goals.
