Unigrà operates in the business of transforming and selling oils and fats, margarine and semi-processed products to produce food, especially confectionery.
Founded in Conselice, Italy in 1972 by Luciano Martini, over the years the company has developed its mission to produce top quality primary ingredients, semi-finished and finished products for all the channels in the sector: Industrial, Artisanal, Retail and Ho.Re.Ca.

Unigrà is now an international business with revenues exceeding 600 million Euros, exporting approximately 40% of its turnover from the business of its 14 foreign subsidiaries, 2 branches and an extensive network of distributors and importers in over 100 countries worldwide.
The Group is still being managed by its Founder, Luciano Martini, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and his son, Gian Maria Martini, CEO, who ensure that the fundamental values at the heart of the company are upheld.
The production site in Malaysia represents a milestone in Unigrà’s internationalization process - the manufacturing process starts taking place outside of the Company’s home country. Thanks to its position, Unigrà Food Processing Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd (UFPAP) can be considered a strategic Hub for the presence of the Group in Asia.
The site started its operations in 2019 and is responsible for the production and distribution within the Asia-Pacific Region of its core business products, such as Pure Chocolate, Compound, Margarine and UHT, serving Professionals across various sectors, for the Pastry, Bakery, Confectionary and Ice Cream markets.
