Uwe Formula Student

UWE Formula Student comprises over 100 students from all disciplines within the University; from Automotive, Aerospace, and Mechanical Engineering through to Business, Product Design, Marketing and IT. We compete annually in the UK's largest student competition, Formula Student UK at Silverstone Circuit. The Formula Student competition involves funding, designing, building and racing a single-seater motorbike-engined car. It is the largest Student Motorsport event in the world, attracting over 130 teams from over 30 countries. This year we are building on our previous successes and are entering our car and designs in the Class 1 event. The Class 1 category includes: 4 dynamic events, such as Acceleration, Skid Pad, Sprint and a 22km Endurance; as well as static events, including: costing, design, and a business presentation. Our recent achievements include: 8th place finish at Formula Student UK 2023. 8th place finish at Formula Student Netherlands 2023. 2nd place finish at Formula Student UK 2022.
