The University of Tartu Institute of Technology (TÜTI) is a multidisciplinary research and development institution established in 2001. Our goal is to lay the foundation for innovative technological solutions and, in doing so, to be a driver of innovation.
Our research is focused on these main areas: biomedical technology, environmental technology, material science and robotics, machine vision and artificial intelligence, and materials in extreme environmental conditions.
Our researchers have participated in various applied projects, resulting in entrepreneurs gaining access to new technological solutions. The institute's core laboratories offer solutions proteomics, scientific equipment building, biosafety (ABSL-3) and simulation technology.
The Institute of Technology provides high-quality higher education at all levels.
