U.S. Transhumanist Party

Technological and medical innovation is developing rapidly, and its momentum and speed are only increasing. Current political entities, however, are hopelessly behind in both legislation and knowledge regarding such progress, making these entities inherently reactive. The U.S. Transhumanist Party wants to bring change to this situation, supporting informed and proactive policies and behaviors based on scientific evidence, reason, and secular values. These are the Core Ideals of the U.S. Transhumanist Party: Ideal 1. The Transhumanist Party supports significant life extension achieved through the progress of science and technology. Ideal 2. The Transhumanist Party supports a cultural, societal, and political atmosphere informed and animated by reason, science, and secular values. Ideal 3. The Transhumanist Party supports efforts to use science, technology, and rational discourse to reduce and eliminate various existential risks to the human species.
