The U.S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors securing America’s net-zero future by advancing state-led, high-impact climate action. Alliance members are working to achieve the Paris Agreement’s goal of keeping temperature increases below 1.5 degrees Celsius by reducing emissions, accelerating action, centering equity, and tracking progress.
Launched in 2017 by the governors of Washington, New York, and California, the Alliance now includes governors from 24 states and territories, representing approximately 55% of the U.S. population, and 60% of the U.S. economy.
