In Vietnam, URC started operations in 2003 as a trading company. The first plant was built in Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province with one snack and one candy lines. Today, the company has five plants across the country – three in Binh Duong, one in Quang Ngai and one in Hanoi. URC is delighting Vietnamese consumers with its well-known brands, ready-to-drink tea C2, energy drink Rong Do, Cream-O and Magic biscuits, Dynamite candies, Jack & Jill Puff Corn and Chikki snacks. Its products are also exported to developed countries as the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, Korea, and Taiwan.
Quality and safety are firmly embedded in URC Vietnam’s operations, as reflected in the constant recertification of all URC factories in Binh Duong and Hanoi for the Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2008 and Environment Management System ISO 14001:2015 standards. URC Vietnam’s VSIP 1 Beverage & Food Plant 1/2 & Hanoi Beverage Plant also received the FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certification. The recent opening of a Central Laboratory further bolstered URC Vietnam’s dedication to quality.
