UP (Unleashing Potential) is a charitable business that provides technology strategy advice and IT consulting to charities and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. We are driven by our desire to help NFPs deliver their passions by improving operations, processes and IT systems. The NFP sector struggles to make smart, cost effective and scalable technology decisions. The vast majority of NFPs have limited in-house IT capability and are not seen as a core target market for the majority of commercial technology providers. To fill this gap we created UP (Unleashing Potential). UP provides independent advice, isn't tied to providers and offers exceptional value strategic advice, products and services. And it does it with a different focus than traditional companies. UP is a charity: our services are charged out at a level that covers our overheads and no more. We are passionate about growing the NFP sector's own technology capability, so it is not reliant on external agencies in the long term. UP's charitable focus is the youth sector. We hire young people who are keen to make a difference. We then provide them with training and mentoring that gives them the skills and opportunities to do so. We want our young consultants of today to become the new generation of in-house NFP technology decision makers of tomorrow. We want our NFP clients to enjoy working with our consultants so much that they decide to hire them.
