Originally established in 1925 in the United States by Dr. Frank Reed Horton under the ideals of the Scouting Law, the Alpha Phi Omega International Collegiate Service Fraternity and Sorority was brought to the Philippines in 1950 and became the first country outside the United States to organize its own national chapter. In 1991, UP Manila, as the Iota Eta Chapter, joined the hundreds of colleges and universities around the world that carries Alpha Phi Omega’s name, legacy, and principles.
