UNICEF Jordan
Jordan has a population of 9.5 million including 4 million children under 18 years of age. Having ratified the convention on the rights of the child in 1991, Jordan has been one of the model countries in the region in protecting and promoting the rights of children in the kingdom. UNICEF is the lead agency on the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in Jordan to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.
