UNCLE TERRY SMELLS started out as all great brands do, a joke. While the home fragrance category has plenty of amazing brands, UNCLE TERRY wanted to create something that would tap into playful nostalgia, a notion the mindset of today’s streetwear and lifestyle consumer subscribes to.
The introductory collection of UNCLE TERRY SMELLS all have notes of wood, spice, and musk woven through each fragrance profile: The introductory fragrance, Uncle Terry No. 1, is topped with leather, lemon, and cardamom. Think of late nights in Miami with new and fast friends, and even faster cars. Next, French Breakfast gives top note throws of nutmeg, lemon, and rose. Picture that late night transitioning into an early morning, messy hair, dewy air, cigarette and coffee in tow. Finally, Cure for Virginity brightens up the day with citrus, berry, and musk. It’s that same messy haired hero turned into the unexpected lead character of our story.
But really, we’re just talking about great, dare we say unique, smelling candles that last about 70 hours and look really cool on your mantle.
UNCLE TERRY SMELLS is based in New York City. Our fragrances and candles are produced in Miami, allowing the brand to support a fellow female-owned business and provide jobs to people during the turbulent days that are 2020.
