Uic Industrial Training And Assessment Center

The US DOE Industrial Assessment Centers (IACs) can help small and medium sized US manufacturers save energy, improve productivity, and reduce waste by providing no-cost technical assessments conducted by university based teams of engineering students and faculty. UIC's Industrial Assessment Center was founded in 2001 and serves the northern/central Illinois, northern Indiana, Eastern Iowa, and Western Michigan regions. The center has completed over 240 assessments with over 2,000 recommendations and has over 120 trained student alumni.
