The UChicago International Development Society is a club devoted to discussing development topics (such as inequality, education, climate change, healthcare) about various regions from a political, economic, and public policy perspective. We discuss influential books, research papers, and broad ideas in the development field during meetings, as well as invite experts to share their experiences and ideas. We’re also committed to working with NGOs and other organizations doing development work in Chicago, and giving members work experience with these organizations.
