University Commercial Services Plymouth Ltd (UCSP) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Plymouth University providing commercial services to a range of clients. This currently includes; – Retail catering, – Hospitality, – Early Years Education, – Childcare. The company’s has its genesis in the provision of experience enhancing services to the University’s Students as part of an effort to retain and improve the institutions excellent reputation. This means that our primary focus is on excellent customer service, providing a quality product and ensuring excellent value for money. This is something that we are delighted to be bringing to the wider community and business world. UCSP is a private limited company and has been in existence since 2013. It is run by a Commercial Services Director who reports to a non-executive board. In order to meet its current commitments, the company employs 86 full time members of staff and retains a 160 strong trained temporary staff pool in order to deal with peaks in demand.
