Ucomposites A/S is a pioneer in upcycling of composites and glass fibers. Ucomposites’ value proposition is to supply upcycled fibers in virgin quality to key industry sectors such as automotive, building materials and oil & gas. Ucomposites supply chopped fibers to some of the most demanding blue-chip customers such as the automotive Tier One suppliers and OEM’s for instance VW, Daimler Group, BMW. Ucomposites work in line with EU thematic strategy for prevention and recycling waste and divertion of waste from landfill. Ucomposites A/S contribute to environmental sustainability by substituting the industries usage of virgin fibers with upcycled. Ucomposites use 60 kWh for upcycling 1 ton of glass fiber opposed the virgin manufactures 8.055 kWh for 1 ton. Ucompostes carbon footprint is 60 kg Co2 per ton of upcycled fiber vs the virgin manufactures 1,9 tons Co2. per ton.
