College of Veterinary Medicine at Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina's largest and most prestigious higher education institution.
Founded in 1904 as a dependency of the Ministry of Agriculture, in 1909 was incorporated to Universidad de Buenos Aires as School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences. It was not until 1972 that both schools parted their ways, and the School of Veterinary Sciences was formally established.
With a long standing tradition of education, research, and extension and outreach, the School of Veterinary Sciences offers a vast options of undergraduate and graduate degrees, and recently achieved national and regional accreditation for the undergraduate degree in veterinary sciences, and the highest calification for it's doctoral program.
