Trolden is a Danish distillery and microbrewery where it takes place the old-fashioned way, right on the outskirts of Kolding city. Here we take the craft seriously; We take pride in producing the best possible product, without compromise. Trolden makes unfiltered specialty beers fermented in bottles, NIMBUS Single Malt Whisky, Copperpot Gin, The Stoker's Rum, the experimental HYBRIS Gin, as well as vodka, liqueur, schnapps, and honey from our own bees. Trolden offers tours and tastings in the distillery and microbrewery. Here you can get up close and personal with the production of real handmade specialty beer, whisky, gin, and rum. We challenge ourselves daily and enjoy experimenting with different flavors, hence the creation of our HYBRIS Gin - a brand new ultra small-batch and experimental Danish gin series made by gin nerds with wild thoughts and ideas in the taste universe. TROLDEN’S HISTORY: Trolden was established in 2005 and named after the Troldhede-Kolding-Road Railway, which ran from Troldhede over Jutland to Kolding, where the most beautiful part of the stretch is said to lie. The track closed in 1968 but is remembered by many as a piece of Kolding history that we at Trolden would like to honor.
