We only use Northern White Cedar (Thuja occidentalis) for our play set construction, harvested in New England. This naturally weather-resistant, self-preserving lumber is the longest-lasting natural wood used in play set construction. It is naturally resistant to rot and termites and requires no annual maintenance. Northern White Cedar will naturally weather to a beautiful silvery gray.
