Trillion Fund

Trillion is an FCA-regulated peer-to-project platform allowing everyone to invest in UK clean energy. In 2014, we raised £1.6 million for renewable energy projects. In 2015, we’re planning on raising a further £10 million. By 2020, our goal is to have helped 50,000 people put £1bn to work for the triple bottom line of people, planet and profit. What we do with our money is changing. There are now more than 5 million of us deciding for ourselves where to put our savings and investments. There is £1 trillion sitting in UK banks earning less than the rate of inflation, and losing money in real terms. £1 trillion a year is also the amount needed to fund sufficient renewable energy to stay within two degrees of warming. We can solve both problems by creating direct investment opportunities in renewable energy for everyone, which will of course also create divestment opportunities from fossil fuel dependent stocks and shares.
