Trauma Resus is the UK’s leading provider of advanced first aid and trauma training. Founded in 2005 by a group of Healthcare professionals, the company is run by those at the forefront of pre-hospital and in-hospital care. Our key goal is to use our expertise and experience to improve patient care, and as a result improve patient outcomes, and save lives. This goal is always the same, whether you are a member of the public who has been trained in First Aid, a Fire Fighter who has undergone trauma training, or a healthcare professional continuing your development. We are a friends and family owned (and run!) business and treat our customers as if they are part of that. We are the number one provider of medical training to the UK’s Fire and Rescue Services, and also the renewable industry having received accreditation from the Global Wind Organisation, to deliver training which is compliant with its GWO Enhanced First Aid criteria. Trauma Resus also provides regular public training courses on most aspects of advanced first aid. There is a published schedule of these courses, which normally take place at Trauma Resus head office. All of our courses are updated annually to ensure they reflect current practices and recommendations. Our course instructors have experience of facing real life emergencies over a number of years. Their backgrounds are from working as Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics, serving in the Armed Forces or previously being Firefighters or Police Officers.Having such an experienced team allows us to deliver the highest quality training available on the market. Our friends and family office team are also never far away and are on hand to deal with any queries you may have. The quality training and support we offer is backed up by a robust Clinical Governance service. This ensures that the latest evidence based practices are taught to candidates, and that we stay at the forefront of modern life-saving techniques.
