Transelec’s mission is to be a leader in the development of the national electricity system, expanding transmission services in a sustainable and efficient manner, and profitably and continually improving the safe delivery of electric energy throughout the entire country. To achieve this aim, its vision centres on consolidating its leadership on the basis of accelerated growth by means of expansions, new projects and eventual acquisitions, as well as through the modernization and continual improvement of its facilities and management processes. This vision is based on and supported by criteria of sustainability – both internal and external – to satisfy the needs of a country increasingly involved in progressing in a way that is compatible with quality of life and conforms to international standards.
