Located in the village of Tockington, just North of the city of Bristol, we are an independent co-educational Nursery and Preparatory School, for children aged 2 to 13 years.
Housed in the beautiful Tockington Manor, with 28 acres of outdoor space comprising a cross country running route; rugby, football and rounders pitches, a cricket pitch and pavilion; an indoor 25 metre heated swimming pool; and floodlit astro turf, it’s no surprise that when children leave us at age 13 they are extraordinarily healthy.
Our academic curriculum is delivered by our dedicated team of teachers who are passionate about their craft, we offer depth and breadth in education with children achieving enviable success rates in the 13+ exams and a high percentage winning academic, design technology and sports scholarships to the country’s top senior schools.
We are a small school, that adheres to traditional 'family values' and strives to allow 'children to be children' for as long as possible. We provide an educational experience combined with additional child care to enhance modern day family life. As a day school with wrap around care on site we have the facilities to offer extended hours to all our children, with many children joining us for breakfast and leaving after supper if they wish.
The School became a Charitable Trust in 1967 and is now administered by a board of Governors. We have 270 pupils from the Nursery (2-4-year-olds) and the Lower School (4-7 year-olds) through to the Upper School (7-13-year-olds).
