The Timmins Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) is the economic development team for the City of Timmins.
The organization's role is to facilitate economic and social activity that supports job creation, diversifies the economy and improves quality of life.
The TEDC has two main areas of focus being: Business Development and Retention (BD&R), and Community Economic Development (CED).
BD&R focuses on creating, attracting and retaining business and investment opportunities. CED focuses on community building and helping non-profits, social enterprises and other organizations build capacity and achieve their mission.
The TEDC is co-located with the Business Enterprise Centre and Link North. Together, the organizations act as a central contact for all business and community needs.
All services are free and available in French and English.
