I am a creative, sustainable zero-waste chef from Berlin offering cooking experiences for private and corporate events. My guests not only enjoy interactive live cooking events, but also global online cooking workshops. My work also includes inspirational talks on Zero Waste & Sustainability as well as my personal experiences in changing careers from International Banker to Sustainable Chef.
Actually, I am a banker! I have been cooking passionately for over 30 years, self-taught and plant-based for more than 4 years. I am convinced that small changes in consumer habits have a sustainable effect on our planet. As we prepare and eat together, I show you how to turn a few natural ingredients into a sustainable taste experience. Conscious use of resources does not mean sacrificing taste. My focus is on sustainability, plant-based cuisine, zero waste and delicious food from "unloved" ingredients. And that's fun, definitely tastes delicious and does good!
Personally, I think we produce and consume too many animal products. In addition, we waste about 1/3 of all food, in Germany alone about 18 million tonnes annually, worldwide even 2.5 trillion tonnes. On both topics, I would like to inspire my guests to reflect on their consumption behaviour and to make a positive contribution even through small changes in behaviour, because "If you're going to save the world, then make it delicious!"
I bring experience in the field of gastronomy, as well as cooking workshops with children from the age of 6 and clients well over 80 who have cooked their first vegan menu ever. For company and customer events, my clients entrust me with the organisation of interactive events for up to 60 people. The focus is always on having fun, not pointing fingers and we have a relaxed, delicious time together. I love to inspire my audience, I like to question established habits and I focus on creative, healthy vegan food.
