ThoraxTrainer Ltd. is the Danish manufacturer and distributor of ThoraxTrainer - a patented training machine that immitates Nordic Skiing Nordic skiing is the world’s toughest sport measured by maximal oxygen uptake, endurance and amount of muscle involvement. Nordic skiing activates more muscles than any other training format. Inspired by this versatile training, we created the ThoraxTrainer and Nordic Full Body Training. Thoraxtrainer Ltd. was founded in 2008 by two passionated Nordic skiers, both with elite sports careers within triathlon and Nordic skiing. As a medical respectively engineer, they saw an opportunity to develop a workout skiing machine, also called a skiergometer, that imitated Nordic skiing. They used their knowledge of training and skiing to build the first skiergometer in the world that realistically could imitate Nordic skiing. The first prototypes of the skiergometer were sold to the Norwegian and Swedish Olympic training centers for Nordic skiing and the first stamp of approval was a reality. Consequently the Fitness industry and others with no background in Noridc skiing began to show an interest in the ThoraxTrainer training machines due to the unique and highly effective training method. Today ThoraxTrainer and ThoraxTrainer Professional GX Concepts is sold all over the world with great succes. We believe we have created no less
