Theta Xi Fraternity, founded in 1864, is celebrating over 150 years of cultivating "All True Men" who live in service to others.
Theta Xi was the only fraternity to be founded during the Civil War. While brothers were fighting each other, our original eight, Peter Fox, Ralph Packard, Christopher Waite, George Brainerd, Samuel Buel Jr., Henry Farnum, Thomas Raymond, and Nathaniel Starbuck, knew the importance of keeping a strong brotherhood. Over 150 years later, we continue to champion the dreams of those men in a contemporary context.
The Fraternity Headquarters was established as the central administrative office for Theta Xi in 1924 to serve all members, both undergraduate and alumni. The headquarters was established in St. Louis, Missouri and remained there until 2022. At such time the organization relocated it's administrative operations to Atlanta, Georgia. Theta Xi National Fraternity is a 501(c)7 non-profit organization. The Theta Xi Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity. Both organizations operate from the headquarters.
The staff of the Headquarters oversee the daily operations of Theta Xi, resource development, undergraduate and alumni services, and member programming & events.
