Description
To provide the most effective, meaningful services to people seeking help from The Youth and Family Project, it is essential to fully understand what brought them to this point in their lives, and then to meet them where they're at.
This process begins by assessing personal challenges, needs and strengths. Goals are established, and a plan of action is developed, based on individual skills and comfort levels. Resource information and referrals to additional sources of help are provided to address unmet needs and encourage each person to work towards achieving their own definition of success.
Program participants are greeted with purpose and hope, and are offered opportunities for growth and change. Children, teens and adults benefit from a variety of educational formats, counseling, peer-support groups, and visitation services, each designed to promote a healthy sense of self-worth and enrich relationships in their lives.
