The University of the West Indies (The UWI), Cave Hill Campus, located in Barbados is a world class accredited institution, comprising of seven faculties with supporting academic departments; various research units and centres; a school of graduate studies and more than 250 academic programmes.
We offer Bachelor programmes at the Undergraduate level; Diplomas, Masters, and PhDs at the Postgraduate level, and professional development short courses through our Centre for Professional Development and Lifelong Learning.
Our faculties include the Faculties of Humanities & Education, Law, Medical Sciences, Science & Technology, Social Sciences, Sport and our most recent addition the Faculty of Culture, Creative & Performing Arts, which launched on August 1st, 2020.
The Cave Hill Campus has become a leader in tertiary education in Barbados and a beacon of academic excellence throughout the region as well as internationally. The Campus’ outstanding quality has earned it the maximum period of institutional accreditation, of 7 years, while, our leadership endeavours to develop our institution as a SMART Campus for the 21st Century.
