The Sylvia Kordower Zetlin Trust

Brooklyn-born real estate investor, Sylvia Kordower-Zetlin, 84, a resident of Harlem, NY was lovingly reunited with her deceased husband, Dr. Valentine Zetlin on March 31st at 8:54 AM following a 4-month battle with leukemia. Sylvia was at the forefront of the 1970's feminist movement as founder and president of The Organization Of Women For Legal Awareness, a federally funded non-profit organization which helped women understand their legal rights. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Anne Reiter, who oversaw every aspect of her care during her illness, granddaughter, Mariel Reiter and her two Chihuahuas, Holly and Honey, who will be adopted by Karen. Services will be held at Provenzano Lanza Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15th at 4 PM.
