The Swimologist

Life is too short to be confined to the shore! Are you are looking for swim lessons to help you conquer your fear and learn to swim? OR Coaching to help you swim better in the pool or open water? Stephanie is the swim teacher and coach you need. She will take your fear of water and transform it into courage and skill so that you can swim with joy. She brings a lifetime of knowledge to the “classroom” as the founder and former owner of The Aqua Life Swim Academy, Ottawa’s largest private swim school. She is also an avid open water swimmer and in 2018 she placed first in the iconic 20km Australian Rottnest Channel Swim in the women’s team division. Since selling her swim school in 2019, she has focused on her core passion – teaching adults to swim and athletes to open water swim with confidence. She believes life should be lived and enjoyed aquatic-ly! 107 adults drown every year in Ontario. Stephanie is on a mission to counteract such a tragic and preventable loss of life by teaching as many adults and teens to swim with confidence.
