SCAC was founded in 2011 by Dr. Sinead Petersen BCBA-D., LABA. After years of consulting in public schools and setting up ABA based classrooms, Dr. Petersen set out on a mission to help children with an Autism Spectrum diagnosis find their voice. SCAC'S intensive Applied Verbal Behavior Model provides state of the art behavior analytic services in a warm and nurturing environment. ABA therapy sessions are fun and focused on keeping each child motivated so they remain engaged and learn at optimal rates. SCAC's developmentally appropriate curriculum builds upon each child's unique strengths and interests. Specifically targeting the essential language, social, and cognitive skills children need to be successful in a classroom setting.
