The Pangaea Project

The Pangaea Project empowers youth from low-income families to become effective "changemakers" in their community and the world. Each year, a new cohort of high school students participates in our core classroom experience, overseas journey, and graduate leadership program, combining local and international service-learning projects. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and with staff in Ecuador and Thailand, our unique model of education provides once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for disadvantaged youth to learn about local and global issues related to solidarity, human rights, social change and community organizing.
