The Child Advocate: Promoting Positive Change for Children Our Mission is to advance positive change in public policy and practice to improve the safety, health and well-being of New Jersey children, especially those with the greatest need. Our Vision is that every child will grow up in a safe, loving home and receive quality education and healthcare so they can become healthy, productive adults. Our Focus is on children with the greatest need, especially those served by state systems, including the child protection, juvenile justice and child behavioral health.
